Temple of Duality - DCJam23
This was submitted to the 2023 Dungeon Crawl Jam.
A clash is happening between the 2 gods of this world, one wishing to preserve the world and one wanting remake it anew. The player must climb to the top of the temple and put a stop to actions that will destroy the world as they know it. They reside at the top of the temple. What will you do when you reach the top?

V 1.1 (Post Jam Version)
- Fixed bug with traversing ramps (you no longer fall through the world and can always use them to go up)
- Fixed a collision bug with spike traps that prevented you from walking through them after they were triggered
- Fixed a bug with campfires that didn’t play the “on heal” effect when they were used
- Fixed campfire 3D SFX so you do not have infinite distance hearing
- Add more dark dungeon fog to give better atmosphere - Ensured all levers didn’t fall off their walls
- Shrunk the lever object to not be soooo large
- Made the treasure chest look more like a treasure chest … sortof
Known Bugs / Issues
- Missing Ceiling tiles in some areas
- It's unclear what world you are viewing with the duality ring so you can just flip it a few times to see
- The Hammer alter visual wasn’t updated which reflects its state at the Jam completion
One thing that I would like to point out is that there are a number of secrets and shortcuts within the level design. This was specifically designed this way because a handful of the judges were speed runners and this was meant for them to see how fast they could complete the game if they found all the secrets.
